PROSPECT ESTATE VILLAS VILLA AND MARKETING MANAGER Prospect Estate Villas is an up-market resort which includes 5 villas, a Great House, Chapel and estate on the north coast of Jamaica providing exclusive holiday rental homes, wedding and event sites. The company is poised for significant growth in villa rentals. The Position This position will report to the General Manager, Directors and Owners and be responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing programs as well as the day-to-day management of the Villas, Great House and Chapel and the associated staff. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with at least 3 years experience in the villa / hotel industry and who is an ambitious, proactive and self-motivated individual. He / she will be responsible for achieving aggressive marketing and sales objectives and developing strong ongoing relationships with travel agents and clients. The successful candidate will also be required to: * Ensure that the villas and grounds are maintained to a high standard * Liaise with guests and oversight of staff members * Manage the development and motivation of staff members * Ensure that the staff uniforms are in good order * Perform monthly villa inventory exercises and restock as required * Ensure all staff members’ food handler’s permits are current * Report the need for repairs and refurbishment of the villas and villa amenities * Ensure that the villas are always in a state of readiness for guest arrivals and site inspections * Accompany prospective guests and clients on villa site visits * Produce and submit weekly villa sales and marketing reports to the General Manager, Directors and Owners * Correspond and maintain relationships with agents and clients via telephone and email * Market the villas, Great House and Chapel via social media channels e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc. * Make recommendations to the directors and owners regarding marketing initiatives to effectively sale the property * Maintain the reservations system to ensure it accurately reflects all current and future bookings Qualifications * Be a graduate of a tertiary institution * Have at least 3 years experience in marketing and management * Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills * Be computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word * Experience working with the SynXis and InnQuest reservation platforms will be considered an asset A competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
