We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team as a Audio Visual Technician. The Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining AV equipment for live events, corporate functions, concerts, and productions. The role requires technical expertise in audio, video, lighting, and digital technologies to ensure seamless event production. The ideal candidate will work closely with event coordinators, production teams, and clients to deliver exceptional AV services. Key Responsibilities: Setup & Operation: Install, operate, and troubleshoot audio, video, and lighting systems for live events and productions. Configure and manage projectors, LED screens, cameras, microphones, PA systems, and other AV equipment. Ensure equipment is tested and ready for live use, conducting sound and lighting checks as needed. Maintenance & Inventory: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on AV equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition. Assist in managing inventory by tracking equipment usage and ensuring timely returns. Work with the inventory management team to update AV equipment in the database and perform quality control checks. Event Support: Collaborate with event planners, producers, and other technical teams to ensure flawless execution. Provide real-time AV support during live events, addressing any technical issues that arise. Assist with staging, rigging, and other technical setup as required. Client Relations: Interact with clients to understand their AV needs and ensure satisfactory service delivery. Provide on-site technical guidance and respond to client inquiries before and during events. Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols in the setup and operation of AV equipment. Ensure compliance with company and venue standards, as well as health and safety regulations. Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment including soundboards, video mixers, lighting consoles, and streaming devices. Experience with digital and analog AV systems, cabling, and signal flow. Knowledge of live streaming platforms, projection mapping, and digital signage is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AV technician in live events, broadcasting, or a related field. Familiarity with AV management software, such as Intellievent, is an advantage. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and team members. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Additional Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift and transport heavy AV equipment.A valid driver’s license is preferred.
