A fast growing customer service oriented company is inviting suitably qualified applicants to fill the following position:
ACCOUNTING CLERK
Job Summary:
The Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of General Accounting and clerical support tasks including:
? Enter data into the accounting systems
? Reconcile bank statements with internal records
? Process Accounts Payables, Purchasing and Receivables transactions
? Prepare disbursements and upload invoices to payment system
? Perform general office support like filing and other administrative tasks
? Assist with the budget planning and maintaining financial databases and spreadsheets
? Ensure customer requests are resolved in a very timely and professional manner
? Help provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner
? Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
? At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
? General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures.
? Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounts or equivalent would be an asset
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
? Excellent customer service skills
? Knowledge of the Sage Accounting Software would be an asset
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
