OPHTHALMIC NURSE / SCRUB TECHNICIAN

Applications are invited to fill the position of Ophthalmic Nurse/Ophthalmic Scrub Technician in a busy Ophthalmologist’s office in Kingston. The successful candidate will assist the Ophthalmologist in areas of patient care and general office administration and operative cases. Previous experience is required. The ideal candidate must: • Be reliable, organized, proactive, highly self-motivated and willing to learn. Strong team player. • Be a Registered Nurse or a practical nurse preferably with scrub technician training • Be efficient and detail oriented. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required. Additional on-the-job training will be provided. Prior experience working in a medical facility is preferred. Operating theatre experience would be an asset. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
