An established warehouse within a Shipping Group of Companies invites applications to fill the following contract posts: Warehouse Handlers •Must have a Secondary School Leaving Certificate •Possess excellent work attitude and general deportment. •Willing to work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays during peak season. Customer Service Clerk •5 CXC Level subjects inclusive of English Language and a numeric subject •Must have a School Leaving Certificate •2 years working experience in a related environment. •Must be computer literate. •Willing to work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays during peak season. •Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills •Experience in interacting with people at all levels. •Knowledge of the shipping industry would be an asset. Forklift Operators: •Must have a Secondary School Leaving Certificate •Possess certificate in Forklift Operations •Have a valid ‘General’ Driver’s License for at least 2 years •Possess minimum 3 years’ experience operating a forklift. •Willing to work overtime weekdays and on Saturdays during peak season. Freight & Administrative Officer •A Diploma/Associate Degree in Business Administration. •Five (5) CXC subjects including Mathematics and English Language •Must be computer literate. •Proficiency using ASYCUDA and PCS Systems would be an asset. •Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a related environment. •Ability to work on own initiative. •Possess a keen eye for detail. •Good oral and written communication skills. •Good inter-personal skills with the ability to foster teamwork. •Willing to work irregular hours and on weekends.
