An established Shipping Group of Companies invites applicants with the following qualifications and experience to fill the post of Accountant: Minimum Qualification & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounts from a recognized University or ACCA Level I Certification. - At least four (4) years of experience in an operational accounting environment. - Must have advanced payroll experience preparing fortnightly and monthly payrolls with the use of HRMIS Software. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Sage/Accpac. - Advanced practical knowledge of preparing final accounts and tax returns. - Ability to prepare and present financial reports. - Possess advanced mathematical skills with strong attention to detail. - Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills. - Knowledge of Jamaican Labour Laws would be an asset.
