Location: Kingston, Jamaica
Core Functions
-Enter accounts payables and receivables ledger with invoices via Peachtree.
-Enter all receipts and payments to Cash Book via Peachtree.
-Enter journal entries via Peachtree.
-Maintain proper filing of accounting records.
-Maintain an up-to-date-fixed asset register.
-Assist with receivables collections and any other accounting task.
Required Qualification and experience
-Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration in Accounting or equivalent OR
-A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar capacity OR
-ACCA Level 1 certification with 2 years experience or similar capacity.
Knowledge/Skills/Competence
-Solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Requisite computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Working Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software/ Sage Accounting Software.
-Professional manner and a strong work ethic.
-Ability to multi-task and remain motivated and positive.
